Ian , Ellen and myself (Leila) are proposing the following trip - August 11 to 14th. We are thinking size of 6 to 8 people. Ian will be our trip leader and Ellen and I will help organize.

We will drive up to Lac La Biche on Thursday evening and camp at Beaver Lake Campground, just outside Lac la Biche , then make an early start to get to the staging area on Friday morning. This way we have our pick of campsites. Once everyone is settled in their spots, they can tour the lakes/circuit on the Saturday and then break camp on Sunday.

Participants need to realize that it is a 3 km portage in & out. The park does provide canoe carts, but they can all be at the other end! Best to take your own (or club) heavy duty carts. These lakes can be windy and choppy, good flatwater skills will be required. Both canoes and kayaks are regularly paddled on this route.
