Three-day trip on North Saskatchewan from Nordegg to Rocky Mountain House.
Requires good river paddling skills, being able to get to the inside of fast corners, and being able to recognize and avoid log jams and sweepers. Good eddy turns, ferrying and setting skills are nice to have too!
Parking will be on the Kraft Farm a couple miles upstream from the fort boat launch/landing. A 7 passenger van will shuttle drivers for a flat rate of $125. We'll split the van cost by the number of vehicles... this is incentive to share, cut CO, and help reduce our vehicle count down to 7.
Tentative Schedule
Friday - some folk may want to drive out and camp near Nordegg or at the FTR/Nordegg bridge... but it is a long weekend and campsites fill early, and random camping at the bridge can be noisy.
