Looks like we are the first to book into Willmore Campground for the May Long Weekend.  This campground is on the MacLeod River 6 km south of the town of Edson (cemetery).  The MacLeod River provides a number of easy stretches for those with modest river skills, and the MacLeod River and Wolf creek provide some modest whitewater, Class 11 to 11+ (if we're lucky).  Fickle, Bear, and other ponds in the area provide local flatwater opportunities... and may try to visit the heron colony on Chip Lake on our way home Monday.  This is all day tripping and car camping.  We expect a mix of tents and RVs.  Travel and camping may be coordinated.  Camps fees will be collected on site... they are expected to be $17/nite/unit (We'll get this clarified by early May).
