Ceyana is being asked to help River Valley Alliance with RiverFest 2017. Specifically, they need volunteers on the water to help marshal a 'flotilla' of 400 rafts from the Whitemud Park to Emily Murphy Park. Each raft holds 4 people, and will be equipped with life jackets, a safety kit and paddles.

Volunteers will need their own craft and must be experience moving water paddlers. They will help monitor on-water activities, kindly enforce rules and help nudge people to shore that overshoot the pull-out.

There will be two shifts of volunteers (am and pm). Volunteers will receive a meal and a t-shirt.
