Ceyana Canoe Club
This gem of a river is often called the "weekend Nahanni" because of spectacular mountain scenery, whitewater that is the limit for open canoe tripping, waterfalls, tufa springs, and sometimes great wildlife. Although it is a long drive to get there, it's worth it. The put in will be at Settlers Crossing, camping there Friday evening and doing the shuttle on Saturday morning. This will be overnight canoe camping on the river, paddling to the White River where we'll take out. Peter and Sylvi from Bow Waters canoe club are leading this trip and will welcome Ceyana paddlers. Make sure to have warm sleeping bags and lots of warm clothes.
