This one evening session will be a practical session on using maps and compass for navigating. Participants should come prepared for both indoor and outdoor work. If you have an orienteering compass... please bring it along (the one's with a rectangular base plate and pivoting compass housing). Map and compass purchase will also be discussed. Instructor does have a few extra compasses!
