This one evening session will be an introduction to GPS units and their utilization for paddlers. GPS purchase, and smart phone options will be discussed... briefly. Grid Reference, Computer/web coordination, way points, tracking, route development will all be discussed. As much as possible this will be a practical session, so both indoor and outdoor clothing should be brought. IF you own a GPS please bring it along... and with the manual if you have it (check the web if not, most are posted). Instructor does have an extra unit or two to share.
