Come join us for a weekend on the Kootenay Plains in the Cavalcade Meadows group site (site #8) for the 2021 Labor Day Weekend.  We are booked in, and camp fees for the three evenings will be $140 per camp unit/tent/rv/etc. Only register for one person... guests will be charged if you register them... Camp fee is per camp unit!

Camping is rustic, well water, fire pits, usually clean toilets, and NO power!

This is one of the prettiest spots in Alberta!   And there is paddling (big & small lakes and rivers in the area), day hikes in various directions (Siffleur Falls being the most popular), Mtn Biking and even a bit of scrambling can be found!  Our most popular paddling over the years has been the runs on the North Saskatchewan: above Saskatchewan Crossing (two portages), below 'the Crossing (no portages and some fun bits).   And in recent years we've made some forays onto Lake Abraham in the early morning or evening... it has reputation for day time wind.  And some years on the Monday we've done the run below the Bighorn Dam to the FTR (it can be a bit full of log jams) on the way home.

For the Banff park runs we will have to be cognizant of the 48 hr dry time between water bodies.  I don't think this will affect us if we paddle three days in a row on the NSR.

Until August 15 we'll only take folk intending to come for all three nights... If we do not fill most of the 20 available camp sites, we will open up registration for fewer nights.
