Long time club members Tim, Donna and Laura are keen to gather up a crew of members to tackle a week long canoe trip on the Murray & Pine Rivers, and a wee bit of the Peace River.  Paddling from Tumbler Ridge to Taylor, BC., approximately 230 km, 5 days on the water... maybe 6.  This river is a "step-up" from Nordegg to Rocky on the NSR, and is similar in size.  Log jams, sweepers, and near river wide ledges (scouting required) are the primary paddling challenges.  Good river/WW paddling skills required, and good camping skills.   This is probably best done by canoe, given the load capacity needed for rum and trade goods!
