Ceyana Canoe Club
This program will review and practise open canoe rescues for and on the river. Initial discussion will include the outfitting required for river and whitewater paddling of open canoes that best facilitates rescuing. Throw bag rescues will be reviewed on land, and on the river. And then on the river basic "clip & tow" rescues will be practised with empty canoes. If time allows: "T", and Parallel, rescues maybe included. Club gear will be available but it is best when practising rescues to have your own gear: throw-bag, life-jacket, & paddle, etc.
This program is May 12 (7:00 P).
For Club Volunteers who are leading trips, or volunteering for Tuesday evenings at Rundle Park this session is FREE! Register, and don't pay we will do our best to eliminate the invoice!
