Trip Leader training is in 2 Parts.
Part 1: April 16 Educational Session from 1-4 pm; and,

Part 2: River Rescue practice, June 17 from 9 am to 4 pm (location to be confirmed but plan is on Wabamun Lake then Pembina River). (Register separately for the River Rescue session. Participants may apply for a 50% reimbursement for Part 2 -River Rescue if they take Part 1 on April 16th and volunteer to lead a club trip leader or at rundle pond) 

Part 1 Education Theory Session covers: the skills and experiences needed to be a Club Trip Leader, what are the expectations of the club, what policies and supports (liability insurance, mentors, equipment, trailers) the club has in place for Trip Leaders. Learn the difference between our informal trips organized on Ceyana Community Facebook, and our formal club trips organized and approved on the Club Trip schedule, with pre-registered participants. 

There is no cost to take this Educational Session.
