  • Guest Registration assumes all guests are Ceyana or Bow Waters Canoe Club members, and staying in the same camping unit / tent/ rv!

This is a joint Ceyana & Bow Waters Canoe Club long weekend of camping at the Canoe Meadows Group Campsite in Kananaskis, and daytrip paddling on local lakes, rivers and the whitewater race course on the Kananaskis River if you possess the skills!

Due to the high cost of renting this group campsite, you are required to pay for the full weekend cost (for Fri/Sat/Sun nights) no matter how many nights you plan to stay. The camping rate quoted is per camping unit (1 camping unit is 1 vehicle with 1 tent (1, 6-person tent or 2,2-person tents) OR 1 RV, with max 6 people per camping unit as per AWA rules. No refunds are issued if YOU cancel after July 20th. 

Kananaskis Country requires you to have a 2023 Kan Conservation Pass, purchase from AB government here.

CEYANA MEMBERS please register & pay via this registration form on this website. Remember, no refunds are issued if cancel less than 14 days in advance (after July 20th.)

BOW WATERS MEMBERS please register by emailing your request including your name, phone, email to Kathryn: <zimmer4@telus.net>  Ceyana will confirm your booking and let you know how to pay for your campsite in advance via E-Transfer to Ceyana Club Treasurer. Remember no refunds if you cancel after July 20 2023. 

TRIP LEADERS: We are looking for volunteers to lead day trips. If you are a club trip leader and you have paddled in the area, please let us know. We will provide a free campsite to volunteer Trip Leaders.  Please forward your trip leading offers with local reaches you are familiar with to Kathryn. (If asked to Lead, Ceyana will register you for the weekend with no fees.)

Local lake daytrips - Upper and Lower Kananaskis Lake and Barrier Lake.

Ceyana may offer local river daytrips up to Class II - the Middle Bow River to Banff Class I+, Lower Ghost Dam to Cochrane Paddlers Class II, Lower Kanananskis River downstream of Canoe Meadows Class II. ***Pending availability of leaders.

BWCC may offer river daytrips up to Class II+ and possibly on the Kan Race Course Class III. ***Pending availability of leaders.
