Come Paddle the Athabasca River, out through the front range and into the boreal forest from just below Jasper Lake through to Pulp Road Bridge east of Hinton.  There will be two nights of

"canoe camping".  This is a fast river with sections of what can be tight logjams and sweepers, and some fun bouncy water.  Good Intermediate river skills and back country camp are required.  There maybe a fee for taxi rental for the car shuttle... TBD!

Suitable for ww solo canoe, ww kayak, and tandem canoe with the proper skills and ww outfitting. If you are a single canoeist in need of a partner and have your own camping gear then sign up so organizers are aware of your intentions. We will try our best to match you up. Due to logistics involved it's best to sign up by the first week of July so proper planning can be done.
