Neil and Kristoff are keen to check out this 15 - 20 km reach of the Sturgeon river above Big Lake.  They are going to scout it out prior to May 26.  An alternative will be the run down to Big Lake.  This is exploratory for the club.  Paddlers joining this trip will need to provide All their own gear and boats. Bring a lunch, snacks, fluids, and paddling wear appropriate for the forecast, wind and rain.  Paddlers should have good paddling maneuvering skills in their boat of choice, competent eddy turns, ferrying and being able to avoid sweepers and log jams that are in the current! The crew will tentatively meet at Cunningham Bridge, leave a shuttle vehicle, load boats and gear into a minimum of vehicles and head up to the Hwy #633 bridge.   For further information contact <neil4atutor@gmail.com>.
